Wedding day: T Minus 1 day and counting….

So today some of the wedding party are doing a zip-wire! In the opinion of some, that’s a very brave thing to do the day before the wedding. However, we have a few hours before then so the ‘trip-trio’ now newly expanded to the ‘Fantastic Fivesome’ are exploring the island.

Tony, the self appointed ‘tour-manager’, decides to stop at a nice looking vineyard for refreshments.

All too soon it was time to leave the Heke distillery and show out support to the intrepid adventurers at Eco zipline. We were there early so we had a quick go, just to check it was safe for the others, before they arrived.

The wedding party arrive and are quickly suited up and ready to go. They are sceptical that we have actually been on the zipline. How the very dare they!

Thankfully, everyone survived, injury free. Praise the lord.

And having returned to base, via ‘Super Liquor’ to replenish stocks for the rest of the afternoon, we stroll down to the local restaurant to meet with Zoe, Diane and Stuart for a lovely evening meal to round off a great day.
