After 3 delayed flights an, ‘interesting’ take off from Birmingham Airport and a lost and found passport (from being pulled out for a randon security check) we finally arrived at Christchuch… in the rain! Hey-ho, we are here.

Checked in at hotel, nice room, sampled the bar and then went The Victoria Bar, which in an English pub directly across the road from the hotel. Good food, good beer.

This morning we have woken up to New Zealand sunshine. Let hope it lasts for the rest of the holiday.
